FALL FEST 2015

KINGS DOMINION

10:30AM TO MIDNIGHT

 Brethren, this year’s Fall Fest will be held at Kings Dominion and is open to Members, Prospects, Advisors and Chaperones.  The park opens at 10:30 am but the parking lot is open at 10:00am.  It will be a fun filled day with the parks rides and shows as well as an all you can eat picnic and scavenger hunt in the park.  The schedule for the day is:

• 10:00AM-11:15AM:  Pick up tickets at near the Will Call window (there will be a table set up)

• 10:30am-12:00am:  Park open

• 11:30am-1:00pm:  Picnic at the parks shelter, the menu is all you can eat and includes chicken tenders, meatball subs, BBQ sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans and ice cream as well as soft drinks, water and tea.

• 1:00pm-untill:  Scavenger hunt.  Rules will be given at the picnic.

Kings Dominion has given us some very good rates.  The following breakdown are all inclusive (park admission and picnic, parking is an additional $15).

Park admission and picnic:                                            $50

Picnic only (for those that have season passes):  $15

For Prospects:                                                                   $30

For Prospects that have turned in their petition: $20

Note that there will be an additional fee of $15 for parking.  Kings Dominion might waive that fee if we have over a hundred attending.

For those wishing to spend the night, there is a Days Inn adjacent to the park as well as plenty of hotels in Doswell (5 minutes away).  The Days Inn does let those staying at the hotel too park for free and you could walk to the park.

The deadline to register is September 16.  An email with the numbers participating is acceptable, but we do need a hard copy with one check by September 25.
