Competitions and Awards

DeMolay offers members a broad array of competitions in ritual performance, public speaking, and athletics, with opportunities to compete at the chapter, regional, and state levels. Ritual and speaking events challenge members to master and dramatically deliver memorized content, while oratorical and essay contests invite members to research and speak on civic virtues and current events. At state events, members also compete in athletic contests. Together, these programs develop leadership, discipline, and camaraderie while giving every member a chance to excel in the areas where they shine brightest.
